Compared to multi-stage incubation, single-stage incubation gave more consistent results in improving broiler performance, according to research conducted by Drs Michael J. Wineland, Vern L. Christensen and Edgar Oviedo of the Department of Poultry Science at North Carolina State University. The work was sponsored by the US Poultry and Egg Association.
